~ Our heritage
Grapes and vines of a fine terroir.
Our house was built on fragments and sparks of a time when a family worked the vineyards along the sun and seasons — Loving reminiscences of generations and generations of grape-lovers, infusing our distilling philosophy with the singular savoir-faire and enduring wisdom of winemaking traditions from the heart of France.
~ Our longing
A new effort for attention, seeking to discover a new world within the known world.
Twinkling questions came to glimmer along the memories, as Mother Earth’s aching became louder and louder in our ears. — A search for a renewed balance was desperate to birth.
A there, a poetry-filled spirit emerged, shaped with new aspirations for the vines and yearnings for honouring nature’s bountiful floral givings and ceaseless cycle of eternal return.
~ DH Lawrence, 1928
The essential quality of poetry is that it makes a new effort of attention, and discovers a new world within the known world.
