Our Story

There is no end.
There is only reinvention.

It began where some saw the end of the road. A house in ruins and some used grapes destined to be tossed away. Desertion seemed to be the next step, but NO, resignation could not be the resolution so we sat down, we breathed, and payed close attention…

And nature, as always, whispered the solution.

We sensed opportunity where others saw waste.

We took.
(Left over grapes.)

We reflected.
(Gathered more overlooked local ingredients.)

We reflected again.
(Sprinkled over twinkling reminiscence of our full history.)

We transformed. (Up in the pot-still.)

And gave birth to our gin —
a full and complex identity, reborn.

ποιεῖν • (poieîn). Ancient Greek. Verb. — To create, to bring into being, to give form to what was not.

Our vision

Embodying the art of poetic living.

What began as an inherited allegiance to Sauvignon Grapes evolved into a liquid chant, a poem paying tribute to the magnificence of our land and its perpetual motion, a symphony made of bountiful flowers, up-cycled grapes, and intricate leaves from once faraway lands.

In our house, vines, blooms, and citruses come together to draw lines of new horizons, lines of encounters between cherished inheritance and aspirations for a renewed tomorrow, lines of beauty celebrating life in the littlest details of the grand mastery.

Entwining past, present, and future.

On the family property where it all started,
« Curiosity, responsibility, and kinship » were the leading principles driving every single day of labor, enabling an acute — and astute! — appreciation of the symbiosis of nature.

As the magnificent intricacies of transformation were taught, a very special emphasis was put on reflecting around the terroir and the responsibility that we — land-benefiters — bare in both its empowerment and preservation.

At Maison MG, we script ourselves within these very philosophies: appreciate the magnitude our presence on this earth entails and infuse this poetic mindfulness into every possible action.

Today, we aim to apply this conception of beauty to spirits conception and consumption.

Tomorrow, we aspire to expend this vision to all possible layers of implications our fabrication process may compel.
