A meeting between brewing ritual and late-night elegance.
The MG Đá - Cà Phê Sữa draws inspiration from the slow drip of Vietnamese coffee — the quiet rhythm that turns patience into pleasure. The botanicals of gin melt into the depth of coffee and the silk of condensed milk, creating a cocktail that is both grounded and luminous but mostly profoundly emblematic of our Eurasian house!
The glacial drip of the metal filter becomes part of the experience. This serve is ideally brewed through a traditional Vietnamese phin device, but if you don’t have one, any strong‑brew coffee method will serve.
Preparation
In a large glass, pour the sweetened condensed milk and add a few ice cubes.
Gently pour in the Maison MG Gin and let it rest for a moment — just long enough for the aromas to open.
Brew your coffee slowly using a traditional Vietnamese phin filter: add the ground coffee, press lightly with the press, pour in hot water, and let it drip patiently into your glass.
Watch the ritual unfold. Appreciate the slow drip, the mingling of aromas, the meeting of textures and temperatures…
And once the brewing is complete, stir delicately, inhale, and enjoy!
NOTE: No phin at home? No problem. Any strong brew will do. (Moka pot, espresso, French press…) The spirit lies in the slowness, not the tool.
Tasting Notes
Velvety and aromatic — the strength of the coffee anchors the gin’s floral brightness, while the condensed milk softens the ensemble into a layered indulgence.
Smooth, slightly bold, and quietly elegant.
* “Level” refers to the alcohol strength of the drink.
